Sequim Community Foundation is a nonprofit Washington corporation located in Sequim-Dungeness Valley. The Foundation was incorporated in September 2000 to promote growth of organized philanthropy to encourage and enrich quality of life in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley.

The Foundation serves as a leader, catalyst and resource for philanthropy. It provides flexible and cost effective ways for donors to benefit non-profit organizations. Strategic grants are made in the areas of Animal Welfare, Arts and Culture, Education and Youth, and Environment and Conservation. The Foundation brings together community leaders and constituencies to help identify and solve community problems in a creative, sensitive and timely manner. Additionally the Foundation provides technical support, funding referrals, grants management and other services to donors, non-profit organizations and the community at large. The Foundation is actively building a permanent funding source by investing with the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation.

To promote the growth of organized philanthropy that enriches the quality of life in the Sequim - Dungeness valley region by:

Philosophy and Purpose

We are an activist body geared to endorse and support both our vision and the vision and activities of qualifying individuals and organizations who embrace and reflect our mission.

We enhance and strengthen our community by funding the building of public environments and activities, which will strengthen connections among all of our people.

We invite and are receptive to ideas that foster our mission, vision and philosophy.
